The beginning of my journey: January 14, 2014
Yesterday, I made the decision to join my colleagues in the LiveWell Challenge. Today, I began my day by eating 1 1/2 cups of hot Quaker oatmeal with cinnamon, craisins, coconut oil, and chia seeds. It lacked taste, so tomorrow I'm going to add honey.
Lunch: I ate 2 cups of salad with turkey, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and french dressing.
Dinner: My mom made dinner for me. I ate salmon, boiled Chinese broccoli, avocado, and white rice.
I consumed about 24 - 30 oz of water for the day.
With my co-workers, we're taking 15-minute walks around the UNO campus. We do them at around 10 AM and 3 PM. I've enjoyed the company and the exercise.
